Additional Concerts/Events that I'm helping organize

Tampa: Tues Sept 26 -- Friends of Florida Folk www.foff.org is sponsoring a "Folk in the Schools" program featuring Curtis & Loretta. It will be at Lanier Elementary School in South Tampa. It's not open to the public. But I wanted to tout it. It's a neat thing to expose the kids to some good ole folk music. And Curtis & Loretta with their great talent, old-timey looks & multi-instruments (most of which the kids have probablynever seen or heard) will be good ambassadors of Folk. Thanks to FOFF for sponsoring it!

Odessa: Sat Oct 7: GUITARIST MURIEL ANDERSON IN ODESSA. (yes-Odessa). 3pm,$10 at the door (except there is no door). The Spirit of Life UnitarianUniversalists are interested in jumping on the concert bandwagon (joiningtheir sister UUs in Clearwater and at the UU Dome in Tampa which alreadyhave concert series). They are testing the concert waters by presentingthe amazing, jaw-dropping guitarist --Muriel Anderson. "This woman, who I first thought was a little girl, walked to the front of the room, pickedup a large guitar and sat down in a chair & commenced to play the most amazing guitar-music I've ever heard. I couldn't believe my eyes or ears."Words uttered by an audience member after experiencing Muriel's concert inTampa (at the UU Dome) a couple of years ago. ***** The Odessa Spirit ofLife UUs have purchased beautiful property you reach via a dirt road fromTarpon Springs Road.
