UU Church of Tampa. Celebrating our 10th year of concerts!
Tues/Feb 7th/ 7:30 pm. $12. ERIC TAYLOR . http://www.bluerubymusic.com/ Acclaimed Texas singer-songwriter celebrating the release of his latest record The Great Divide. Eric has appeared on Letterman w/Nanci Griffith & On Austin CityLimits where he remarked that he always enjoys playing at the UU Dome in Tampa. Hey Eric, We enjoy having you at the Dome too!
Sun/Feb 12th/3pm. $10. KEN WALDMAN, Alaska's Fiddling Poet. "Feels like a KenBurns movie." http://www.kenwaldman.com/ Ken combines fiddling with poetry in a uniqueperformance style similar to that of the late John Hartford. He will be joined by Gainesville's CHUCK LEVY, an award winning old-time banjo player &fiddler. Gloria will be out of town for this concert. Russ & Candy Gale will be in charge. Mr. Ethnic (Jim Strickland), old-time music DJ on WMNF, will be the emcee. Come keep 'em company & treat yourself to an enjoyable happening.

Expect Sweet Harmony, lively energy - and sass - from the Pasco County Retro gals. And from Cindy Kallet expect great vocals, accomplished guitar playing, wry humor & an overall wonderful performance. Cindy is a highly respected traditional folksinger on the National Folk Scene.

Thurs/Mar 9th/ 7:30pm. $10. LISSA SCHNECKENBURGER. http://www.lissafiddle.com/ Lissa is a national touring singer-songwriter & fiddler. She, with Corey DiMario backing her up on double bass and tenor guitar, will be blowing out the music cobwebs in a night of freewheeling & innovative traditional & contemporary folk. She & Corey wowed us last year. We expect no less than a repeat WOW this year.

Remember - Roseville Faire; Going to the West; All God’s Critters Got a Place in the Choir? Bill wrote ‘em. Appeared on Prairie Home Companion; Mountain Stage. A special treat to have Bill in our Dome! www.acousticmusic.com/staines Guitarist Sal DiTroia will open. Though you may not be familiar with Sal by name, you've heard his music. He has recorded with super stars such as Janis Ian, Barbara Strisand, Billy Joel, Dionne Warwick, and Simon & Garfunkle and The Monkees (to name a few). ST PATTY'S DAY EVE AT THE UU DOME

BRENDAN NOLAN, our favorite Irishman, will be featured. www.brendannolan.com Originally from Dublin Ireland, Brendan has been a resident of St Pete Beach since the early 90s, having been introduced to the area via a gig at the late great Harp & Thistle Pub. Since landing in Florida, he has endeared himself to acoustic music fans, not only in the TampaBay/St Pete area, but all across the state.
Sun/Mar 19/2:00pm. $10. BASSIST LLOYD GOLDSTEIN Classical & non-classical music with guest appearances by Lloyd's friends - plus performance surprises. Lloyd is a former bassist w/the Florida Orchestra. He's a member of the Tampa UU church and enthralls the congregation with special music from time to time. He also is very supportive of the concert series and has participated as an opener (for Matt Haimovitz) and has accompanied some of the other featured musicians. We're now very pleased to have the talented and creative LLOYD GOLDSTEIN himself be the featured performer and look forward to enjoying his music and whatever "surprises" he has in store for us.
Tues/Mar 21st/ 7:30pm. $10. CHUCK BRODSKY. "He is an extroadinary talent... I would place him in the Dylan-Guthrie-Prine league without question.
